Wellness Wednesday: Alternatives to help with every day problems.

We are always looking for safer cures for a variety of problems we have. Did you ever think to turn to your sense of smell?  It's amazing how a variety of natural fragrances from herbs, turned into essential oils can help with every day problems we would typically use caffeine and OTC drugs to fix.  Everyone knows that lavender is calming and great for about everything, but what about other essential oils?

If you're looking for energy, choose citrus fragrances, we have them available in LimeFruit and our most popular, Lemongrass Lavender or put a few drops of a citrus essential oil in a tart or oil burner.

Have a headache, try peppermint, especially a Peppermint Roll-on to use on your temples, you can also smell Peppermint Essential Oil to help relieve your headache.

Anxiety?  Bergamot, clary-sage, orange, lemon...ask for a specialized Roll-on in your favorite or make up your own.

Fake it until you make it. Grin and bear it. These are all great but do they work? YES, research shows that acting like an extrovert, smiling when you really don't feel like it can indeed affect your attitude and can actually put you in a better mood! 

Faking a smile, can also boost your confidence! Smiling at someone else, even if you don't feel like it can bring a smile to their face, so it's also contagious and think of all the good vibes you get for making someone else's day! 

Although there are many fake things in the world that you can buy that may only bring temporary happiness, it appears a free fake smile can do just the trick! So if you're reading this SMILE!!

Wednesday Winter Skin Care Tips!

Tip: Don't eat yellow snow.  Okay besides that helpful winter tip, there are so many things you can do to help your skin. First of all your skin is so dry in the winter you need more water, not only can water help in your healthy 2015 resolution, but it can also help by moisturizing your skin from the inside out. Drinking enough water, you will see a significant difference in your skin within 4 weeks! You can also help your skin by sloughing off the dry skin by exfoliating, you can purchase something from Live Love Dew or by using a combination of sugar and olive oil or try baking soda for an even more fine scrub. Afterwards, make sure you moisturize really well by using our Dew serum or Dew Face Cream or something natural you already have at home. For your body use something like natural coconut oil or one of our Body Butters or Body Balms, Sweet Feet is perfect for those dry, cracked, itching feet!

And speaking of snow, grab a handful to put on a pimple to help the swelling go down or put in a towel to help soothe puffy eyes.
