We love Lavender Essential Oil at Live Love Dew! Not only is it a natural pleasant scent, but there is so much more that Lavender is good for.
Lavender essential oil is distilled by steam from the grown flowers of the Lavender plant. Lavender is one of the most widely known Essential Oils and has many uses, including skin care, aromatherapy, cooking, etc. We like the use of Lavender in both skin care and aromatherapy. When properly diluted, Lavender Essential Oil is one of the safest of all the essential oils. It is great for all over body products and some people actually use it in recipes.
Some benefits of Lavender Essential Oil:
-Most known as a calming, relaxing scent and can help promote sleep
-It can relieve tension, stress and anxiety
-Lavender in skin care is known to have antiseptic, antiviral, antibiotic and antifungal properties.
-Helps heal insect bites, burns and helps prevent the infections that sometimes come with those.
-Used in massage can help lower blood pressure
-Mosquitos, bedbugs and moths do not like the smell of lavender, use it to help keep these pests away!
-Helps with headaches
