Wellness Wednesday: Your Skin!

Wellness Wednesday: Your skin is a hard-working organ, yes the largest organ we have and should be taking care of. It protects our internal organs and body. It absorbs EVERYTHING we put on it. Taken care of properly, it can eliminate toxins from our body. New skin cells are renewed every 24-40 days, which is amazing, and the sloughed off skin cells are replaced with identical cells. Our skin contains moisture, oil, nutrition and oxygen.

Each square inch of skin contains: 78 yards of nerves, 95-100 sebaceous glands, 19 yards of blood vessels, 19.500 sensory cells at the ends of nerve fibers, 9,500,000 cells, 650 perspiration glands and 65 hairs.**

Allow your skin to do it's job: Protect, Release & Renew
