We have had many requests for so many products and although it would be easier to formulate and just put it out there and hope it sticks, we prefer to have people test them beforehand to make sure we aren’t just being biased and putting something out there that people want, need and enjoy putting on their skin. We are happy to introduce two formulas of our new facial cream, Intense Dew Face Cream and Sheer Dew Face Cream. We cannot make any promises or claims for any of our products unless they are approved by the FDA, but we can tell you why we chose each ingredient.
The Oils/Butters
Mango Butter is the main butter in this face cream and, the reason we chose it is because it has shown to soften, regenerate, soothe, protect, condition and lubricate the skin. It has also been shown to reduce signs of wrinkles. Mango Butter also is a great source of Vitamins A, C & D.
Jojoba Oil has been shown to be age-defying. It’s actually not even an oil, but a liquid plant wax closest to human sebum (our skin produces this oil naturally to help protect it). Jojoba Oil is easily absorbed into our skin, and is also nourishing, an anti-inflammatory, and humectant, doesn’t block pores, rich in Vitamin E and provides a natural sun protection of SPF 4. It is also
great for most skin types especially mature, acne prone, inflamed, sensitive, oily, dry and even those with eczema.
Meadowfoam Seed Oil is similar to jojoba oil. It’s very high in Vitamin E and helps rejuvenate skin and reduce wrinkles.
Evening Primrose Oil is great for skin that is sensitive, dry, mature, prematurely aged and those with eczema. It is an emollient that contains fatty acids, proteins, minerals and vitamins. Evening Primrose oil is also rejuvenating, regenerating, soothing and
moisturizing.The Extracts
Calendula extract is skin-healing, anti-inflammatory and helps soothe dry irritated skin. It’s also very nourishing for your skin.
Chamomile extract helps heal your skin, especially sores; it’s calming, balancing and regenerating.
Green Tea extract is high in antioxidants, Vitamin C, anti-inflammatory and is great for mature skin.
The Essential Oils
We used Clary Sage for balance and calming of the skin. It has also been shown to be excellent for normal, mature, dry, problem and congested skin.
We also added Rose Geranium Essential oil for its revitalizing properties as well it’s been shown to help with broken capillaries, congested and inflamed skin and also skin that is oily, dry, mature, normal and even those with eczema.
The last essential oil we added was Lavender Essential Oil which has been shown to be a cell regenerator prevents scarring and calms skin. It’s also great for dry, oily, sensitive, combination, damaged, delicate and acne prone skin.
Other ingredients:
Vitamin E soothes, heals, balances, prevents scarring and aging and hydrates the skin.
We added Vegetable Glycerin to the Intense version of this face cream to help bring hydration to the skin throughout the day.
We are excited to add this new face cream to our skin care line-up and hope you enjoy it. It will be available starting this weekend at Arts in the Alley in Grove City and will be showing up on our website this week.
