Recipes...yum!

Even though this is the busiest time of year for Live Love Dew, our passion is also cooking and baking! We thought it'd be fun to share our favorite recipes and do a recipe swap.  So dig out your cookbooks or memories and think about your favorite recipe(s) for this time of year.  It can be sweet, savory, healthy, quick, kids fave, etc. whatever...we just want everyone to share their favorites with each other and we can all try them out.  We are going to be swapping on our Blog and Facebook, have fun with it!  Here are 2 of our favorite recipes and as we think of the others we love and come up with new ones we'll share them too!

Aunt Sissy's Brownie Recipe
1 Stick Unsalted Butter
1 10 oz. Can Hershey's syrup
1/2 tsp Vanilla
3 Eggs
1 Cup All Purpose Flour

Icing
6 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
6 Tbsp. Milk
1 1/3 Cups Sugar
1 Tbsp. Karo Syrup
1/2 Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips

Cream sugar and butter together with eggs and beat.  Add Hershey syrup, vanilla and flour.  Pour into greased baking pan and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.  Be careful not to overcook.  Let brownies cool for a few minutes before you make icing.

Mix first four ingredients for icing and bring to a rapid boil, watch clock and boil for only one minute.  Remove from heat, add chocolate chips, stir until smooth, pour over brownies.  Do not cut brownies until they are cooled.

No Fail Easy Peanut Butter Fudge
